Clubs and societies are student-led communities supported and managed through the UKMC Students’ Association (UKMCSA). The seven themes below are the proposed founding societies for 2026–27; their establishment and activities remain subject to the relevant approvals.

Start or support a society

  1. Tell UKMCSA which society interests you, or suggest a new one.
  2. Discuss membership and committee arrangements; current Hub guidance refers to at least 10 interested students and a committee of three.
  3. Agree an inclusive activity plan and seek any required approval.
  4. Ask UKMCSA about possible mini-grant support. Funding is subject to approval and available resources.

Societies are expected to plan regular activities; the proposed founding programme suggests at least one activity a month where practical and approved.
